A house is more than a room.
At the Case Romane del Celio, the underground rooms preserve traces of changing use, decoration and belief beneath a later Christian basilica.
This private journey focuses on how Roman domestic spaces were adapted and remembered across later centuries. Rather than treating the site as an isolated stop, your guide connects its rooms and surviving decoration to the urban setting of the Caelian.
The visit is planned around the official opening calendar and the site’s current visitor rules. The itinerary and meeting details are confirmed after we check your date.
