A ritual landscape, not a checklist.
Mithraea survive in different contexts across Rome. Their access arrangements are not uniform, so the route starts with the question you want to explore and the sites available on your dates.
Where access permits, a journey may connect the Mithraeum beneath San Clemente with another site such as the Mithraeum of the Circus Maximus. The final itinerary depends on the responsible institution’s calendar, reservation rules and the time available.
We do not promise entry to restricted spaces before availability is confirmed. Your written proposal will identify the sites requested, the access status and any third-party costs.
Build the visit around your interests
Focus on ritual architecture, the evidence preserved in a particular mithraeum, or the wider presence of Mithraic worship in the city.
Specialist planning
Because opening schedules and access conditions can vary, this experience is quoted individually after we check the relevant sites.
Price on request. The final quote depends on the itinerary, guide requirements, reservations and any site charges.
The Circus Maximus Mithraeum is managed through Rome’s Capitoline heritage services. Access is date-dependent and must be confirmed before the journey is accepted.
